Travels With Max cover

For the recreation of John Steinbeck’s continental trip chronicled in Travels With Charley, the cover needed to show the expanse of the trip and be somewhat light. The photo illustration was pieced together from snapshots of the author’s Airstream, his dog, a stock landscape, all placed on a road made of the map from the book’s interior.
